LIMANY. PART 2. KARELIAN RESTAURANT
LIMANY — is a natural recreation center with minimal interference with the environment on the Karelian Isthmus in Saint-Petersburg. The visual language of the residential sector is built on the basis of Karelian history and the mimicry of all recreational architecture under nature to reflect the unique context of the place. The recreation center provides a stylistically redesigned traditional home of the Finno-Ugric people.
The restaurant building consists of 3 food points: fusion cuisine restaurant, Russian cuisine cafe, Karelian cuisine cafe. It has radial shaping and wooden rhythm of the roof laths corelating with traditional housing constructions of the Finno-Ugric people since olden times located on Limany`s terrain.
